Experimenting

I signed up for Pillow Talk Swap 5 and I wanted to do a little experimenting before I made my partner's pillow.  I've wanted to do this for a while, but I was too nervous to use my print stash so I tried it out with some solids.  I used Kona, Bella, and Free Spirit solids.  I'm pretty happy with how well it came together!  I'm thinking for my partner's pillow, I will use a linen center with some embroidery and then use some fun prints.  Maybe a rainbow?

    I love this!!!! Love the bright, vibrant colors! Prints would definitely be fun, too, but I really like the solids, too :)

    That looks really cool! I like the light shining through it, looks like stained glass.

    love it Kelly! I've been wanting to try a block or quilt like that for a while too! I'm sure that your pillow will be gorgeous!
